With so much sitting and so much screen time in our daily lives, it’s more important than ever to make the time to get some exercise and do some strength training. Although there is good evidence that our ancient ancestors didn’t have to be on their feet all day long, they probably had substantially more daily activity than recommended in the CDC’s minimum exercise guidelines.
Remember, walking counts! It doesn’t have to be exhausting, and you don’t have to spend a lot of time — 5 or 10 minutes of activity here and there can make a big difference to your health.
