More Kettlebell Fun
So you’ve got the kettlebell basics down, and you’re looking for more options. Check out this list from Greatist of 22 kettlebell moves. The list includes a mix of traditional kettlebell movements and other movements that are also familiar to dumbbell and barbell users.
Kettlebells are versatile equipment — and easier to have at home than, say, dumbbells, because just a few sizes give you a ton of options. If you’re looking to disaster-proof a new exercise habit with some small, easy-storing gear to keep at home, kettlebells are a great choice! Here are some notes on choosing good sizes to start with (plus finding a coach or choosing a DVD for instruction). The one detail I’d add is that it’s nice to have a pair of bells in a smaller size (and indeed required for some of the moves in the Greatist list).
Happy swinging — and more!
